Most offset bridges ask string tension and flimsy springs to hold every adjustment in place - saddle height, intonation, the post itself.
That tension changes with every bend and dive, so nothing really stays put. A Tuffset saddle locks each of those mechanically instead - with no springs, and nothing left loose.
Set it once, adjust it anytime, and nothing drifts in between.

Every offset bridge has to deal with the vibrato pushing and pulling the saddle - rocking bridges move with it, fixed bridges hold still against it.

Lift the old one out
Slacken the strings and lift your factory bridge out of the thimbles. Nothing to unscrew, nothing to lose.

Same thimbles, same footprint. It drops straight into the holes your old bridge left - a direct swap.

Tune and set your action the way you always have, then lock each adjustment down. That's it - nothing moves again until you want it to.

If your guitar has standard offset bridge thimbles - Jazzmaster, Jaguar, Mustang, Bass VI, or a close derivative - yes.
Do I need to modify anything?
